If you constantly post selfies, you may want to re-evaluate your life. Psychologists from Ohio University have found that frequent selfie takers score higher on the psychopathic checklist. Whether you are selfie-obsessed or just worried for a friend, these are the signs to watch out for.
1. You have a new profile picture every day
There are people who post selfies, and then there are people that bombard the world with selfies. If you are the later, I demand you to put your phone down! Psychopaths are impulsive and act on instinct. So if you are constantly changing your profile picture, slow down.
2. Your snap story reaches 86400 seconds, everyday
Not a minute of your life goes by without the need to send your friends a snap selfie. You put everything on your snap story just to make sure everyone can see them again and again, so you will always be on their minds.
3. You live for likes
Sometimes we all like to feel popular, but this person takes it to the extreme. Self-obsession is a trait of being a psychopath. You feel the need to gain hundreds of likes. And will go to extreme lengths to get them.
4. Show us your pout
According to the study, psychopaths don't mess around with filters. The selfie psychopath wants you to see them right in the moment. They will do anything to grab your attention, busting out their best duckface. Does this sound like you?
5. The social media god/goddess
You don't stick to Facebook. Whether your friends are going on Snapchat, Instagram or Twitter, there's no escape.
