If you’re heading off to a fun festival this summer, you need to make sure you have everything you need. If you’re new to the world of fests, you could easily make some mistakes! Before the big weekend rolls around, you should grab some of the essentials. You never know what the weather’s going to be like or how the weekend will pan out, which is why this is so very important. Here are just five things that you can’t leave your home without.
1. Sunglasses

If you want to see the acts without getting a horrid glare in your eyes, you must not forget your sunglasses. Of course, these things have the added bonus of making you look incredible as well. You should choose some with a bold print so that you start out from the crowd.
2. Camera

Of course, you can get a whole load of ultra expensive camera these days. If you want to get all fancy, you can get an instant camera, which will be perfect for the summer season. Don’t just rely on your phone camera. Instead, you want to get a little creative. Why not take a bunch of instant cameras with you? That way, when you develop them, you will never know what you’re gonna get.
3. Wellies

Festivals (especially British fests) are notorious for getting a little muddy. When there are hundreds of people trampling around a field for three straight days, things are sure to get a little dirty. Make sure that you have wellies with you or you absolutely will regret it. Choose something bold and colourful, rather than the standard green pair.
4. Mini wipes

You should not rely on the fact that you will be able to use the bathroom. The chances are that you will not see a real sink for about three days. Instead, you need to come up with another plan. Mini wipes are perfect for just this job. Pair them with some dry shampoo and you have a DIY cleaning kit.
5. Sun cream

Okay, it might sound boring, but you have to take sun cream with you. For one thing, it smells great and makes you think about being on a beach somewhere sunny. For another, it is essential in protecting your skin. At any festival, you’re bound to be outside for most of the day. Be careful. There’s nothing like a horrid, blistering sunburn to ruin your fun.
